Mrs. Delia Kessiah Bellew, 87, pioneer resident of Straight Mountain, passed away March 12 at her home on Rt. 4 Oneonta. She was the widow of Rev. Fayette E. Bellew and the daughter of the late John and Celia Murphree Reneau. Mrs. Bellew is survived by four sons, W. A., J. T. and R. S. Bellew, all of Rt. 4 Oneonta, and Arvil Bellew, Oneonta; four daughters, Mrs. Roxie Langston, Rt. 4 Oneonta; Mrs. Murtie Creel, Oneonta, Mrs. Alta Woodard, Rt. 2 Oneonta, and Mrs. Agnes Gargus, Princeton, Fla.; 32 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Fosters Chapel Church of God Friday at 2:00 o"clock, Revs. M. D. Harwood and W. H. Diggs officiating. Interment was in Antioch Cemetery, Wiggins Brown-Service Funeral Home directing, pallbearers were Foy, Jimmy, Pat, and Troy Bellew, Clayton Creel, and Herschel Gargus.
