EARL L. BELLAMY
Earl L. Bellamy, 59 who lived in Peoria 33 years, died at 8:15 p.m. Saturday at Methodist Hospital. He was admitted Monday.
Born in Abingdon, April 19, 1896, he was the son of Walker and Ida Atwater Bellamy. He married Mabel Barnett at Lewistown July 3, 1917.
He had been employed as a truck driver for T. Bork & Son for 33 years, last working Feb. 27. He served in the Army during World War I and was a member of the Peoria Post 2 American Legion and of the Teamsters & Chauffeurs Union.
Surviving are his wife; three brothers, Henry of Canton, Arthur of Cuba and Morrell of Peoria; and six sisters, Mrs. Hazel Voorhees of Cole Valley, Mrs. Marie Grigsby of Peoria, Mrs. Mary Deitiker of Canton, Mrs. Ellen McDaniels of California, Miss Anna Bellamy and Mrs. Dorothy Howater, both of Cuba.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Wiltion Mortuary Chapel. The Rev. E. L. Fernandes will officate. Burial will be in Park View Cemetery.
