Helen R. Athon, 98, formerly of Ponca City, OK, died Friday, November 17, 2000, at Royal Terrace Care Center in Olathe, KS.
She was born July 25, 1902, in Lyndon, KS.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred L. Athon; her daughter, Adetha Wilson; her sisters, Hallie White, Della Sheppard, Ruth Townsend; and her brother, Henry Bell.
She is survived by her son, Bruce L. Athon of grand Prairie, TX; her daughter, Ardis A. Burley of Westwood Hills, KS; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be held at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Ponca City, Oklahoma.
