MRS. ADELIZA BELL
Adeliza Sanderson Bell died at her home in Warren township on Feb. 20, 1911, at the age of 75 years, 1 month and 12 days. Deceased was born near Brownstown, Indiana, on Jan. 8th, 1836, where she resided until May, 1850, when she came to Lucas county.
On April 18, 1852, she was married to John Bell. To this union were born six children, all of whom are living and were present at the funeral. They are: Theron N., of Winchester, Idaho, Mrs. Junia Sigler, of Lucas county, Mrs. Izora Knapp, of Monroe county, Mrs. Mary Barger, of Longmont, Colo., Mrs. Irene Canfield, of Wayne county, and Mrs. Myrtle Marquis, also of Winchester, Idaho.
Death was due to a complication of diseases from which she had been a sufferer for some time.
Her husband preceded her to the great beyond on Nov. 20, 1899.
She was of a kind disposition, always ready to help in time of need, and her death is mourned by a large circle of relatives and friends.
Services were conducted by Rev. C. O. Davis, pastor of the Christian church of Chariton, at 12:30, Tuesday. Interment was at the Derby cemetery.
