Funeral services for Mrs. Lucy Bransford Bell, 76, wife of W. J. Bell retired merchant who died Thursday at her home, 73 Washington street, will be held at 10:30 o'clock Friday morning at the Carroll Street Methodist church.
Mrs. Bell, daughter of the late John C. Bransford merchant at New Middleton, Tenn, and her husband have been residents of Nashville for more than 50 years.
She is survived by the husband; three daughters, Mrs. George Meyer, Mrs. Willie Mai Lanius and Mrs. E. W. Sorey; two sons, J. B. and J. H. Bell;one brother, R. C. Bradford, Craggie Hope, Tenn; sixteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
The services at the church will be in charge of the Rev. W. W. Pullen. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery. Pallbearers will be Walter Lane, W. C. Tanksley, LonTanksley, R. H. Bradfore, C. D. Baker, Edgar G. Graves, J.G. Rives, Frank Carr, L. B. Creech, H. C. Irvin and R. A. Wright.
