Mrs. Minnie Eveland, 79, died at her home in Pascola on Monday, December 17 and funeral services were held the following Wednesday at the Pentecostal church in Pascola, with the Rev. R.W. Pirtle officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn cemetery at Hayti with LaForge Undertaking Company service.
Mrs. Eveland was born in Greenup, Ill. on December 26, 1882, but had lived in this county. She was the widow of the late George Eveland, who died about 20 years ago.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Artie Coram of Pascola, Mrs. Leona Ferrell of Broseley, Mo., Mrs. Mandy French of Gary, Ind. and Mrs. Josie Moore of Flint, Mich.
Three sons, Walter Eveland of Hayti, Porter of St. Louis and Harvey Eveland of Pascola; 50 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandrandchildren.
