Passed suddenly on Sunday, July 12, 2009. Mourning her passing are her mother, Sandra Coles-Bell; father and step-mother, Kimberly and Herman F. Bell, III; brother and sister- in-law Eric and Zuri Coles; sister Tamara M. Bell; grandmother Purnell Bell; aunt Rhonda Williams, cousin Shaune Williams and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation Monday, July 20, 9:30 a.m. Service 11:30 a.m. at church of the Nativity, 6000 Georgia Ave NW. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery. Arrangements by JOHNSON & JENKINS FUNERAL HOME.

The City of Takoma Park and the Takoma Park Recreation Department is mourning the passing of 21-year old Corinne Bell who died suddenly last Sunday. Corinne started working for the Takoma Park Recreation Department in June of 2007. While working at the Community Center, she developed a relationship with many of the youth that frequent the facility. Her most recent program was called "Knitter-Bugs." Corinne had a passion for knitting and wanted to share this with the young girls. In addition, she was well known in the community for delivering excellent customer service at the Front Desk of the Takoma Park Community Center.
