J.N. Bell of Santa Anna sank to the sidewalk in front of the Hall Hardware Company Store on Hutchings Avenue in Ballinger. Mr. Bell and his wife arrived in Ballinger yesterday on the delayed Santa Fe train en route to Bradshaw on a visit to G.L. Bailey, Mr. Bell's brother-in-law. They arrived in Ballinger too late to catch the A. & S. Train for Bradshaw. They spent the night at the Reed Hotel, expecting to go out to Bradshaw on the afternoon A. & S. train. He died at the Reed Hotel. Higginbotham Currie Williams Undertaking prepared his body for shipment. Mr. Bell was a stranger in Ballinger. The body was transferred to Bradshaw for interment.
