BELL, Bettye Lee Curtis -Age 84 of Nashville went to be with our Lord Saturday, July 16th.

She was born to the late Thomas and Mona O'Neal Curtis. She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Harold Baker Bell; and daughter, Glenda Kay Bell.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda Faye Odum, Janice Lee Newcome; granddaughters, Cathleen Barnes, Tracy Harris, Torrie Newcome; and great granddaughter, Lindsey Barnes; brother, Bobby (Betty) Curtis; sister, Beverly Wheeler; son-in-law, Tommy Odum; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She formerly attended Grace Baptist Church, Two Rivers Baptist Church for 24 years, and was most recently a member of Dalewood Baptist Church.

She was known as "Mother Teresa" to her Sunday school class and all who loved her. Among things like family and friends she also came to admire a lone tree that sat in the middle of a field off the freeway. It reminded her of the poem, "Trees....a tree that looks at God all day, and lifts her leafy arms to pray." There is a peace to know that she, Poppa, and Glenda Kay are happy sitting under that tree in heaven.

She will be greatly missed by all who's life she touched. Visitation will be 12PM-7PM, Tuesday, July 19th and a funeral service will be held at 10AM, Wednesday, July 20th with Pastor Paul Wampler officiating at SPRING HILL FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY
