Surviving are his wife, Mary Richardson Bell; two daughters, Mrs. John (Irene) Fortner of Dublin, Mrs. Jay (Wanda) Lovejoy of Virginia Beach; two sons, Lawrence Douglas Bell of St. Charles, Mo. and Julian T. Bell of Salem; two sisters, Mrs. Everette (Minnie) Ward of Pulaski and Mrs. John (Hazel) Collins of Ivanhoe; one brother, Frank Bell of Ivanhoe; one half-sister, Mrs. Jimmy Jackson of Ivanhoe; two half-brothers, Herbert (Bud) Bell and Bobby Bell, both of Ivanhoe; eight grandchildren also survive.
