BELL -- Arthur Lee, Sr., 82, owner and operator of Vern Jewelry and Vern Tag Agency, died Monday, May 23, 2005. Born July 1, 1922 in Nash, OK to parents Thomas and Lois (Hawkins) Bell. The third of 4 children. Graduated from Ponca City High School in 1942 and married Mary Louise Schwemin in 1944. Art served in the U.S. Marines during WWII and the Korean Conflict, Once a Marine, Always a Marine. He will be remembered for his devotion to his wife, loving his family, joke telling, his honesty, kindness, generosity, and his big heart. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Semper Fi. Survivors include: his loving wife of 60 years, Mary Louise Bell; Rosary, 7 p.m., Thursday, May 26, Fitzgerald Ivy Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial, 1:30 p.m., Friday, May 27, 2005, Holy Family Cathedral. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery. The Fitzgerald Ivy Chapel, 585-1151.
