Obituary: The Evening News, Jeffersonville, IN, 6 Jan 1997, reads: William Bruce Bell, 92, Music Teacher--Funeral Services for William Bruce Bell, 92, of Borden were held today, Monday, Jan. 6, at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home, Borden with burial in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Starlight. He died Friday, Jan 3, 1997 at Heritage House of Salem. He was a private music teacher, a published author, a former member of the Borden Lions Club and a member of Borden Community Church. Survivors include a brother, Hubert Bell. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Borden Lions Club.
