Robert "Bob" L. Bell 80, Greenfield, died Mar. 30, 2004. He was born Nov. 18, 1923. Mr. Bell was a teacher at Charlottesville, New Palestine and Mt. Vernon High Schools. Mr. Bell was a graduate of Mt. Comfort High School and Purdue University. He was a member of Mohawk United Methodist Church, Sunday School teacher at Mohawk U.M.C., Masonic Lodge, 32nd Degree Mason, Scottish Rite, 4-H Leader, Board of Directors with Hancock Bank & Trust. He served in the U. S. Coast Guard Seebees, South Pacific. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mohawk U.M.C. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2004at Mohawk U.M.C., with calling from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 4, 2004 at Pasco-Stillinger Funeral Home, Greenfield. Masonic service will be at 3 p.m. Sun. Burial will be at Park Cemetery, Greenfield. He was preceded in death by daughter Nancy Bell; spouse Arnella Bell; father Roy Bell; mother Vera Bell; sister Katherine Ellenberger; brother Harold Bell. Survivors include son Jay Bell of Greenfield; daughters Carolyn Sue Bell of Greenfield; four grandchildren Jennifer Wood, James Bell, Stephanie Bell, Amber Bell; one great-grandchild Corbin Wood.
