Doy Walton Bell was born September 6, 1912 on Woolverton Mountain in Center Ridge, Conway County, AR.
He was the son of the late Thomas "Tom" Newton Bell and Delona "Lonie" Iona (Owens) Bell.
On September 13, 1930 he married Bernice Bowman in Clinton, Van Buren County, AR., who survives of the home.
He was a farmer and lived most of his life around Morehouse and Bell City, MO areas.

Jul. 23, 1932, daughter of Lester Marion Stephens and Rachel Cordela (Barton) Stephens of Malden, Dunklin County, MO) on Jan. 29, 1949 in Piggott, Clay County, AR. Four Children were born to Steve and Jewell: Janet "Jan" Lynn Bell Heuring, Linda "Gaye" Bell Church Cooper, Margaret "JoEllen" Bell and Steve Vernon Bell II.
2. Joe Tom Bell - Born Jan. 11, 1932 in Formosa, Van Buren County, AR.; Married Ethel Duckworth. Three children were born to Joe and Ethyl: Ruth Ann (Bell) Jowers, Jo Lynne (Bell) Gibson and Denise Bell.
3. Dorothy Bell - Born Mar. 8, 1934 in Formosa, Van Buren County, AR.; Married Jimmy "Bo" Clay. Three children were born to Dorothy and Bo: Randy, Mark and Terry Clay.
4. Charles Dale Bell - Born Sept. 10, 1937 in Formosa, Van Buren County, AR.; Married Carolyn Poe. Two children were born to Charlie and Carolyn: Tammy Bell Northington and Greg Bell.
5. James Chester Bell - Born Aug. 30, 1940 in Bragg City, Dunklin County, MO.; Married Jeanette Polly. Three children were born to Chester and Jeanette: Brian Bell, Susan Leigh Bell and Jamie Bell.
6. George Ellis Bell - Born Feb. 27, 1943 in Dogwood, Mississippi County, MO. Died at the age of 14 on May 26, 1957 and is buried in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Stoddard County, MO.
7. Kenneth Bell - Born Apr. 15, 1954 in Sikeston, Scott County, MO.; Married first wife Linda Ingram and second wife Debbie Rampley. Three children were born to Kenneth and Linda: Nathan Bell, Zach Bell and Erin Bell. Kenneth has one step daughter; (?).
Three Great Grandchildren, Brandi Nichole Church, Christopher Gerald Heuring, Eric Lee Heuring and Lori Michelle Heuring.
Besides his parents, two sisters; Willie Bell Williams , Edith Iona Bell Parks and two brothers; Vernon Bell and Ermil Dean Bell proceded him in death.
