ROBERT W. "Bob" BELL, 81, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2012, in Shands at Jacksonville, Jacksonville, FL following a short illness. Mr. Bell was born February 22, 1931 in Hatchbend, FL, and lived in this area all his life. He was a farmer, a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of McCall's Chapel United Methodist Church. In his past-time he enjoyed music and dancing, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include, his wife, Vauncile Bell of O'Brien, FL; one daughter, Katrina B. O'Steen & Whitey O'Steen of O'Brien, FL; one sister, Edna Douglas & Leonard of Hatchbend, FL; one Brother, Elmer Bell & Jean of Hatchbend, FL; grandchildren, Clint, Kristin & Jay, and Kayla and one great-granddaughter, Sophia.
Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, August 25, 2012, at 3:00pm in McCall's Chapel United Methodist Church, with Rev. Steve Day officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00pm-3:00pm at the church the day of the services.
