S. D. BELL - One of the most estimable citizen of the county, Sam D. Bell, age 73, residing four miles north of Huron, died Tuesday afternoon of general disability. He was thrice married, first wife being Miss. Tennie Teague, who died many years ago. Born of this union were five children, Mrs. J.L. (Emma) Gilliam, Charles D. Bell, Isaac Bell, W.B. Gell and the late Dr. J. Tenner Bell. His second wife was Mrs. Frances Teague Reid, whobore him two sons, Hubert and Fred Bell, before she passed away. His third wife, Callie Diffee, survives him. He was a lifelong farmer, a Democrat, Presbyterian and a good citizen. Funeral services were held at Beech Grov Bresbyterian Church, the interment in the adjoining cemetery.
