Funeral services for Annie Loleta Belknap, 75, of Sweetwater will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 4, 2007, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home chapel in McKinney with the Revs. Wayne Kirk and Alton Byrd officiating. Burial will follow in the Ridgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2007, in the funeral home. Local arrangements were made with McCoy Funeral Home of Sweetwater.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 5, 2007, in the First Assembly of God Church in Sweetwater.
Mrs. Belknap died Saturday, April 28, 2007, in Abilene.
She was born on June 11, 1931, in Collin County. She married David Dare Belknap on July 16, 19467, in Benjamin.
Mrs. Belknap was a homemaker, seamstress and worked in a print shop. She moved to Sweetwater in December 2005 from Frisco. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Pat Kirk and her husband, Wayne, of Sweetwater and Loleta Kay White-Findeisen and her husband, Brad, of Twentynine Palms, Calif.; one son, James Belknap and his wife, Vickie, of Frisco; four sisters, Rosemarie and James Klutts of Knox City, Geneva and Gene Cartwright of Leonard, Rachel and Jack Cohea of Irving and Jean and Roel Galloway of Sherman; a special sister, Faye McDaniel of Sherman; one brother, Johnny and Gloria McLain of Fate; one sister-in-law, Nancy McLain of Sherman; 20 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Aug. 21, 2002; brothers, Jack and Tommy McLain; sister, Joyce McLain; one grandson, and her parents, James F. and Geneva O. McLain.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, David Kirk, Greg Seawald, James Belknap Jr., Billy Belknap, Sam Cravey and Michael O'Neal.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jon and Joseph White-Findeisen.
