The family will receive friends from 12:30PM - 2:00PM Tues. 7 MAR 2006 at McEwen - Mint Hill Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 2PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.

A son of the late John Lee Belk and Jessie Payne Belk. Also preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

A decorated veteran of 2 wars, Mr. Belk served his country during WWII at Pearl Harbor and the Philippines and also during the Korean Conflict. He was a long time deacon and one of the founding members of Landmark Baptist Church. He was also a member of VFW Post 4059, Eastgate Masonic Lodge #692, Scottish Rite and the Oasis Temple.
