PINE BLUFF COMMERCIAL TUESDAY, SEP

HUMPHREY-- Jimmy Donovan Beliew, 18, of Humphrey, died September 28, 1997, at
Highway 152 and Vallier Road near Humphrey from injuries received in a
three-wheeler accident.
Stewart Essex, the Arkansas County coroner, said two all-terrain vehicles
were involved "and they evidently bumped tires". Beliew was evidently thrown
from his vehicle, Essex said. Essex said he was not aware of any others
being injured.
Beliew was born at Humphrey on August 6, 1979, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Tracy
Beliew of Humphrey.
He had graduated from Humphrey High School and was a student at Phillips
Community College of the University of Arkansas at DeWitt, and was a member
of Calvary Baptist Church at Stuttgart.
Survivors include a sister, Tuesday Beliew of Humphrey; grandparents, Mr.
and Mrs. Billie Gene Beliew of Humphrey and Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Barnes of
Mountain View; and great-grandparents, Mattie Beliew and Giva Scroggins, both
of Humphrey, and Estel Sico of Mountain View.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Turpin Funeral Home of
Stuttgart with the Revs. Larry Persons and Sammy Morgan officiating. Burial
will be in Williams Cemetery at Humphrey.
