Mary Catherine (Beld) Greer, 65, Webster, died Nov. 14, 2006, at Norton Audubon Hospital, Louisville. She was born June 16, 1941, in Kosmosdale, the daughter of Lola Catherine Beld, Brandenburg, and the late Lawrence Edward Beld.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Calvin Greer Sr.
Mrs. Greer is survived by four children, Amos Calvin Greer Jr. and Joyce Louise Claycomb, both of Webster, Delores Ann Stith, Louisville, and Carol Lee Fackler, Brandenburg; a sister, Joyce Ann Riley, Brandenburg; three brothers, Lawrence Wade Beld and John Stanley Beld, both of Louisville, and James Edward Beld, Glendale; six grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a special niece, Lisa Ann Ashmore, Concordia.
Funeral services will be held Nov. 17 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Bogard-Greer Cemetery. Visitation will be Nov. 16 from noon until 9 p.m. and Nov. 17 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Troy Beld, Jason Fackler, Nathan Fackler, Fred Rosebush, Cliff Bristoe, and Jeff Greer. Honorary pallbearers will be Cory Claycomb, Michael Beld, and Pete Vincent.
