She was of the Baptist faith and worked as a counselor for the Tennessee School for the Deaf on Island Home Road in Knoxville, Tennessee prior to her marriage in 1965. She enjoyed the friends she made as a member of the TN Red Hat Society, but her family was her true passuon.
While Marshall and Corrine had no children of their own, their superb love and support extended all the way to the third generation of nieces and nephews.
