Rosary services for Andrea B. Hernandez, 89, 1507 W. Bronson St., will be held today at 7 p.m. at West Funeral Home chapel.
Funeral Mass will be read Tuesday at 10 a.m. at San Jose Mission with the Rev. John Curran officiating. Burial will be in Santa Catarina Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jose Manuel Sosa, Ruben Sosa, Johnn Sosa, David Sosa, Alejandro Valenzuela and Michael Valenzuela. All Mrs. Hernandez's nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Mrs. Hernandez was born in Balmorhea, Texas. She moved here in 1918 where she has lived with her family for 61 years. She was a member of San Jose Catholic Church.
Survivors include two sons, Reyes and Elario, both of Phoeniz; two daughters, Tomasa Sosa and Felicitas Valenzuela, both of Carlsbad; two brothers, Gavino Bejarano, Balmorhea, and Julian Bejarano, Slaton, Texas; one sister, Rafaela Vasquez, Balmorhea; 34 grandchildren, 96 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
