Howard D. Beisser
Howard D. (Sonny) Beisser, 51, of Lawndale, Calif., a former Zanesville resident, died Wednesday, July 27, at Daniel Freeman Memorial Hospital in Hawthorne, Calif., following a year's illness.
Born March 13, 1932, in Pineville, La., he was a son of Mrs. Dora Beisser of 850 James St. and the late Howard H. Beisser.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Jenny Beisser; two sons, Michael D. Beisser of 621 Grove Ave. and Terry Beisser of Fultonham, one daugher, Mrs. Robert (Beverlee) Rider of 730 Spangler Drive; one sister, Mrs. Kenzel (Thelma) Palmer of 425 Stewart St.; a half-sister, Mrs. James (Rosella) Dick of Bellville, Ohio; a half-brother, Charles Beisser of Lefler Road, Roseville and five grand-children.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. today at McCormick Mortuary in Hawthorne with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, Calif.
