Mrs. Florence M. Beisser, 78, of Philo Route 1 died at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at her home. She had been ill since 1964.
Mrs. Beisser was born April 13, 1894 in Licking County, a daughter of William and Mary Offenbaker Bell. She moved to the Philo area from Granville in 1910.
Surviving are her husband, Cleo L. Beisser, of the home, whom she married Feb. 21, 1920; a son, Ralph H. of Freeland, Pa.; three daughters, Mrs. Victor (Marion) Miller of Oakland, Calif., Mrs. Dwight (Dorothy) Cain of Cambridge Route 5 and Mrs. Lawrence (Blanche) Drumm of Newark; a brother, William Bell of Struthers; four sisters, Mrs. Edward (Hazel) Mautz of 20 Main Strett, South Zanesville, Mrs. Orville (Elsie) Tewksbury of West Pike, Mrs. Hugh (Edna) Miller of 350 Newman Street and Mrs. Lawrence (Alice) Swingle of Conn Road; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A son, Chester L. Beisser, was reported missing in action June 6, 1944 in World War II and a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Layland, died in 1971. Family links: Spouse: Cleo L Beisser (1896 - 1973)
