Anita D. Beilke, 87, Rib Lake, formerly of Medford, died March 18, 2006, at Rib Lake Health Care Center.
She was born Jan. 2, 1919, in Holton, to Nicholas and Emma (Guhl) Wibben.
She attended grade school in Holton. After eighth grade, she helped on the family farm.
In 1939, she was united in marriage to Adolph Beilke.
She had been employed at Fiskars Scissors & Knives as a product inspector and at Jim's Spirit Lake Tavern for many years.
She was a member of Abbotsford Lutheran Church. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards and the outdoors.
She is survived by one daughter, Ardith Vlach, Marshfield; by one daughter-in-law, Katherine Beilke; by seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; by one brother, Lyle (Pat), Shreveport, La.; by one sister, Alice Dunbar, Marshfield; and by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband, Adolph, in 1969; by one son, Jim; by one son-in-law, Jerry Vlach; and by two brothers and four sisters.
A memorial service was held March 22 at Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Home, Rib Lake, with Rev. Roger Sloan officiating. Interment will take place at a later date at Holton Cemetery.
