Abram S. Beiler, 93, of 140 Fieldcrest Lane, Gordonville, peacefully entered into rest at home on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012. He was the husband of Salome E. Stoltzfus Beiler. They celebrated their 68th anniversary on Dec. 5th.
Mr. Beiler was a retired farmer. A member of the Old Order Amish Church, he served in the ministry for 49 years as a deacon. He was the son of the late Abraham K. and Katie Smucker Beiler.
Also surviving are: two sons, John husband of Mary Blank Beiler, Gonzales, TX, Ira husband of Mary King Beiler, Springville, PA; four daughters, Malinda wife of Daniel S. Zook, Gordonville, Sadie wife of Abner Z. Fisher, Aaronsburg, Katie wife of Abram B. Petersheim, Rockville, IN, Anna Mary Beiler, at home; 33 grandchildren; 85 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: a daughter, Ruth S.; two grandsons; and two great-grandsons.
The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012 at the Amos Esh Residence, 128 Fieldcrest Lane, Gordonville. Viewing: at the late home from the time of this notice till the service. Interment: Millwood Cemetery.
