Emil R. Beier Jr., 77, of Perry, Oklahoma was the son of Emil Beier Sr. and Alvina Karcher Beier.

He was born February 23, 1930 at Perry, Oklahoma and died Monday, March 12, 2007 at Perry Memorial Hospital.

On January 27, 1958, he and Lena Belle Knight were married at Newkirk, Oklahoma.
Jr. was a loving and caring father whose family came first.

He was hard working and enjoyed the outdoors. Jr. farmed in the Perry community.

He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 15, 2007 at the Zion Lutheran Church, east of Perry. Pastor Dan Thimell will officiate.

Interment will be in Grace Hill Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home of Perry.

Memorials may be made to the Leukemia Society in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th, Perry, Oklahoma 73077.

In addition to his wife, Lena Belle, of the home, Jr. is survived by one son, and his wife, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; one daughter, and her husband, of Perry, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one brother, and his wife, of Linn, Kansas; four sisters, their husbands, and one sister-in-law, of Perry, Oklahoma.

Jr. was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Margie Beier and Lillian Jones, and two brothers, Edward Beier and Rudolph Beier.
