Mrs. Catherine Bear, of West Pennsboro township, died last night at 12.30 o'clock after an illness of over one year, aged 54 years. The funeral will take place on Friday, meet at the house at 10.30 a. m. Interment in Bethel Graveyard, at Plainfield. She leaves a husband, two daughters and two sons. The children are: Mrs. W. Scott Altar, of West Pennsboro township; Fannie, residing at home; John Elmer, in Kentucky, and Joseph, of West Pennsboro township.
The deceased was a very estimable woman and has many friends. Mrs. Bear was the daughter of the late John Beidler, and is a sister of John K. Beidler, of Oakville; Jacob, of North Middleton township; Mrs. Levi P. Snyder, of Carlisle; Mrs. Joseph S. Brandt, of Mt. Holly Springs, and Mrs. J. B. Diller, of Fairbury, Nebraska.
