Born April 19, 1918 at Rheems, he was the son of the late Benjamin H. and Edith Mae Wilt Beichler.
An Army veteran of World War II and a Purple Heart recipient, Mr. Beichler was retired from the former Carlisle Tire & Rubber, Carlisle, and was formerly employed by Carlisle Shoe Factory.
He was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Landisburg RR1. He is survived by his wife, Nellie M. Forster Beichler; a daughter, Linda M. Beichler, at home; and a sister, Helen Beichler of Newport.
Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville, with the Revs. George C. Martz and E. Levain Fouse officiating. Burial will be in Landisburg Cemetery, Landisburg RR1.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
