Mrs. Lester Behrends nee Ida Mae Juenke of Fredericksburg passed away on Friday July 5th in the Windcrest Nursing and Rehab Center at age of 74 years.
Ida is survived by her husband Lester Behrends of Fredericksburg; Two children and spouses: Eddie and Marianna Behrends of San Angelo; Evonne Behrends of Midwest City, OK; Three grandchildren; Sister and spouse: Vera and Anthony "Tony" Heiner of Punta Gorda, FL.
Her body will lie in state in the Chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home until 1:15 p.m. on Monday July 8th and from 2 to 3:00 p.m. in the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church with Funeral services at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Bobby Vitek officiating.
Graveside services and interment will follow in the Der Stadt Friedhof Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Hill Country Memorial Hospital, Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, or to the charity of one's choice.
Visitation will be held on Monday July 8th from 9:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. in the Chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home.
