Services for Burnell Beeson, of Silver Creek, are 2 p.m. today at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Arm Baptist Church Cemetery in Silver Creek.
Mr. Beeson, 74, died May 8, 2006, at Baton Rouge General Hospital. He was born on Aug. 17, 1931, to T.C. Beeson and Amanda Lou Russell Beeson.
He was retired from his job as a butane home delivery serviceman with Herring Gas. He was a member of Arm Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the Army and served during World War II.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Survivors are his wife, Flora Jo Beeson, of Silver Creek; his son, Tommy Walker and wife Jackie, of Columbia, S.C.; his daughter, Barbara Holloway and husband Roger, of Bogalusa, La.; his sisters, Genola Barlow, of Hazlehurst, Margaret Stokes, of Monticello, Dianne Berry, of New Hebron, and Delma Wallace, of Monticello; his four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
