Miss Catherine E. Beers was born at Tioga, Pa., December 16, 1879. On November 8, 1899, she was married to Rev. Everett A. Anderson at Tioga, Pa., and laboured together with him for 23 years in the work, until failing health made necessary his retirement. They served at Tioga, Pa., Cohocton, Cameron, Johnsonburg, Knowlesville, Allegany, Darien, Colden and East Charleston. I found them living in Bath New York, when pastor there, and enjoyed frequent seasons of communion with the family. After Brother Anderson's death on February 23, 1927, the widow moved to Batavia where some of her children lived. After the four children were married, the mother made her home with her son James in Batavia, New York until her death June 22, 1938. Mrs. Anderson died as the result of an accident while on a visit to some of her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Anderson was a very pleasant, friendly personality, and was a great help to her husband in his work.
