Ms. Dorothy G. Been, of Greenwood, Akransas, died on the 2nd of Jun 2012, in a Fort Smith hosptial. Ms. Been was 95 years, 1 month and 7 days old. She was a retired employee of Westark Surgical Clinic in Fort Smith and a member and elder of Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church in Greenwood, Arkansas.
Ms. Been was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband: Findley Been; and 1 child: Linda Been Wiggins.
She is survived by one son, Mike Been and wife, Pam of Tulsa OK; one brother, Roger Ward of Fort Smith; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at the Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church in Greenwood, Arkansas. She was laid to rest alongside Findley, at Liberty Cemetery in Greenwood, Arkansas.
Pallbearers were: Brandon McCory, Payne Wiggins, Bill McCorkle, Ed Wilkinson, Larry Scifert, and Reed Wiggins.
