Tucson, AZ Frances Mae Abbott, 93, died Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Handmaker Jewish Center, in Tucson, Arizona. She was born July 17, 1918 in Pratt, Kansas the daughter of Earl and Mabel (Harrel) Beeman. She graduated from Pratt High School in 1936, and was a bookkeeper at the W.R. Green Lumber Co. for 34 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, PRMC Auxiliary, was a past Board Member of the Greenlawn Cemetery Board, and was a South Wind Hospice Volunteer. On March 17, 1946 she married Alfred S. Abbott in Springfield, MO. He died April 17, 1969.

She is survived by two sons Al S. Abbott, Pratt, KS, and John S. Abbott, Tucson, AZ, a daughter Toni Domenico, St. George, UT, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Rd., Pratt, KS 67124. Graveside service will be held 3:00pm, Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt, KS with Reverend Fred Pinkerton officiating. Memorials may be made to Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt Historical Society, or the donor's choice. Condolences may be left at www.larrisonmortuary.com.
