Mrs. Annah Mae Beem, 62, 220 North Sixth street, died at a local hospital early Wednesday morning. She had undergone an operation.
Mrs. Beem was born in Iowa, and lived for several years on a farm north of Neola. She and Mr. Beem, who died two years ago, retired to Council Bluffs in 1912.
Surviving are two sons, C. W. Beem, of the Beem-Belford funeral home, and Marvin Beem of Omaha; a daughter, Mrs. Andrew Lausen, jr., of Council Bluffs; four brothers, Nathan Kemmish of Opportunity, Wash., George Kemmish of Rapid City, S. D.; Frank Kemmish of Persia, la., and Charles Kemmish of Council Bluffs, and nine grandchildren.
Mrs. Beem was a. member of Nidom hive, of the Maccabees.
The body will lie in state at the residence until the hour of the funeral.

Funeral services for Mrs. Annah Mae-Beem will be held Friday at 2 p. m. at the residence, 220 North Sixth street, with Rev. John Rees of Westminster Presbyterian church officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Hill cemetery.
