Beeley was born Dec. 18, 1912, in Horton, to Claude and Lettie Benninger. She married Howard Beeley on May 12, 1934. He died in 1974.
She graduated from Crow High School. She worked delivering mail on horseback in 1930 in the Horton-Crow area. She also had worked for Sears and was a longtime homemaker.
Beeley enjoyed knitting and horses, and loved country music. She belonged to a camera club. Her family will remember her for raising not only her own family, but many others as well.
She is survived by 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Two daughters died previously: Loretta Forge in 1981 and Janice Gilbertson in 2003.
No service is planned. Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene is in charge of arrangements.
