Blanche Thompson Beeks, 80, of 312 S. Texas Ave., died Wednesday, March 28, 2001, at Westside Nursing Center.
Wife of Luther Broadus Beeks, she was born in Greenville, and was the daughter of the late William "Bud" and Eva McCoy Thompson.
She retired from Stone Manufacturing Co. after 30 years and was a member of Brandon Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by nieces, Cynthia Hatfield of Columbia, and Tracy Taber of Greenville; nephews, John Carson Hatfield III of Columbia, and Mark Thompson of Greenville; and stepson, Ricky Beeks of Greenville.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Ray Browning; and brothers, Calvin Thompson, David Thompson, Ansel Thompson and Willie Thompson.
Service: 2 p.m. Saturday at Brandon Baptist Church. Burial will be held at Graceland Cemetery, West.
Visitation: 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church.
Family members are at their respective homes.
