Nathaniel was the son of Joseph and Lydia (Roberts) Beecher. He married Sarah Sperry, the daughter of Ebenezer & Abigail (Dickerman) Sperry and the grand-daughter of my ancestors, Richard Sperry and Lt. Abram & Mary (Cooper) Dickerman. Nathaniel & Sarah Beecher were the grandparents of Rev. Lyman Beecher.
