Funeral service for Mr. Bedell, 65, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Wright Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Tommy Culwell, pastor of Colonial Hill Baptist Church, officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hillcrest Cemetery in Fort Davis with Matt Miles officiating.
Family visitation will be held form 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Born on Jan. 2, 1946 in Fort Stockton, he married Kaprece Adams on Nov. 26, 1975 in Fort Davis. He was an engineer-technician for the Texas Department of Transportation. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of Ira Masonic Lodge #934, AF&AM. Mr. Bedell was also a member of the Presbyterian Church. Danny enjoyed hunting and fishing and he also enjoyed working with his bird dogs and being a cowboy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Fredda Bedell.
Survivors include his wife, Kaprece Bedell of Snyder; one daughter and son-in-law, Lana and Sam Richardson of Abilene; two sons and daughters-in-law Sam and Eren Bedell of McAllen and Colter and Taren Bedell of Snyder; one brother, Clayton Bedell of Fruita, Colo; one sister, Sharon Harrel of Lake Whitney; two grandsons, Branden Bedell and Trey Bedell, both of Abilene; three granddaughters, Kiley Bedell of Lamesa, Avery Bedell of McAllen and RaeClaire Bedell of Snyder, and several nieces and nephews.
