Allen Becnel
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated today at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Vacherie for Allen Roy Becnel, 50, a native and resident of Vacherie who died at 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
Interment was in the church cemetery.
He was the husband of Henrietta Starlone Becnel; son of Mary Tod-aro Becnel; father of Cathy Gee, Tammy, Brian and Allen Becnel Jr.; and brother of Adeline Matherne, Thomas and Charles Becnel. He is also survived by one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Becnel.
