LOUISVILLE, Ga. -- Mrs. Nellie Beckum Henderson, 96, of 823 Academy Drive, died Thursday, May 13, 1999, at Jefferson Hospital.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Louisville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Danny Treadway officiating. Burial will be in Louisville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Henderson, a native of Jefferson County, was a homemaker. She had served as treasurer of the Wardlaw United Methodist Women for 50 years. She was a member of Louisville United Methodist Church for 88 years.
Survivors include a son, Clarence W. Henderson Jr., Louiseville; two brothers, Bascom A. Beckum Sr. and Burch Beckum, both of Louisville; a sister, Emily B. Morgan, Louisville; and five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Robert W. Henderson, Trent Henderson, Tommy Morgan Jr., Bascom A. Beckum Jr., C.E. Carwile, Gene Henderson, Dewey Henderson and Gerald Beckum.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Wardlaw United Methodist Women.
Memorials may be made to Louisville United Methodist Church, Window Fund, 301 West 7th St., Louisville, GA 30434.
Friends may call at the church from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Johnson-Grier Funeral Home.
