He was born May 14, 1952, in Galveston, Texas, and passed away on Friday, May 19, 2006, in Baytown, where he has lived since 1967. David was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Thelma Beckmeyer.
Survivors include his sister, Kathy Russell, her husband Steve, and one niece Bonnie Russell, all of Bridge City, Texas. David is also survived by his beloved and loving friends, Tammy Miller, her husband Mark, and their families, among others.
David enjoyed spending time running lights and sound for Memorial Baptist Church and Baytown Little Theatre. Memorial contributions may be made to either of those organizations. Published May 23, 2006
