Betty J. (Beckham) Williams, 77, of Festus died May 7, 2010, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Crystal City. Mrs. Williams was a retired agent with National Life Insurance Agency. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Business and Professional Women's Association in Festus. Born June 30, 1932, in Festus, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Olivia (Ferguson) Beckham. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph H. Williams.

She is survived by one daughter, Darlene Y. (Richard)Drury of Festus; two grandchildren: Sarah (Derrick) Taylor of Festus and Emily Drury of Festus; three great-grandchildren: Hailey Vessells, Olivia Taylor and ADison Taylor; two sisters: Wanda A. (Charles) Belleville of Oakville and Judy G. (Don) Welch of Ste. Genevieve; and one brother, Alman Ray (Carole) Beckham of Festus. She was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Beckham.

Funeral services were held May 11 at Vinyard Funeral Home, officated by the Rev. Wilbur E. Ferguson. Burial was in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to Pony Bird Home, P.O. Box 190, Mapaville, 63065. Arrangements were under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
