The daughter of Fred & Margaret (Baugh) Becker, she married Donald Albert Adcock, son of John Levi & Lettie Pearl (Black) Adcock on Feb. 7, 1945 in Leesville, LA. He passed away on Sept. 15, 1968. They were the parents of two sons and a daughter.

Esthlena W. Adcock, 82, of Hardin and formerly of Carrollton, died early Monday morning, Feb. 24, 2003, at Calhoun County Care Center in Hardin.
She was born June 13, 1920 in Kampsville, the daughter of Fred and Margaret Baugh Becker. She married Donald A. Adcock on Feb. 7, 1945, in Leesville, La., and he preceded her in death Sept. 15, 1968.
She is survived by on daughter, Diane (husband, John) Spa of Kampsville; two sons, Roger (wife, Connie) and Steve (wife, Lynn), both of Carrollton; six grandchildren; one step-grandchild; two sisters, Laray (husband, Arthur) Harris of Godfrey and Berna Lee (husband, Bill) Stevens of Carrollton; five brothers, Vern (wife,. Mary) Becker of Joseph, Fred Becker of Carrollton, Gary (wife, Mary Lou) Becker of Godfrey, Jerry (wife, Char) Becker of Dow and Richard (wife, Marianne) Becker of Taylors, S.C. She was preceded in death by an infant sister.
Mrs. Adcock was an active member of the Eldred Baptist Church, and a member of the Eldred American Legion Auxiliary for 50 years. She was a longtime babysitter for many children in the Carrollton and Eldred area. She will be sadly missed.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at the Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in Carrollton, with burial at Carrollton City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimers and Related Disorders Research fund.

Funeral services for former Carrollton resident Mrs. Esthlena Adcock, 82, were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, 2003, at the Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in Carrollton with the Rev. John Lobos officiating. Organist Diane Wolfley accompanied Rodney Reif who sang "In the Garden" and Jackie Cooper who sang "The Old Rugged Cross."
Casketbearers were Matt Spa, Donnie Adcock, Cory Clendenen, Craig Cordes, Clayton Arnett, and Andy Brannan. Interment was at Carrollton City Cemetery.
