Rita Marie Ballute, Age 87 of South Church Str., DuBois, Pa died Friday, November 28, 2014 at her home.
Born on February 4, 1927 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ternay & Gertrude (Logue) Beck.
On July 6, 1963, she married Joseph F. Ballute. He survives.
Rita began working in at Jc Penny in DuBois in 1944, until her retirement in 1972.
She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church. She was a past Girl Scout troop leader and was a member of the former DuBois Women's Club. She enjoyed
sewing.
Rita is survived by her daughter (Julie Wolfe & her husband Barry of Sarver, PA) 1 brother (Thomas Beck of Fairfax, VA) and 6 grandchildren (Holly, Laurel, Max, Kelly,
Jordan, & Sean Wolf)
She was preceded in death by her 4 brothers (Ternay, Joseph, Jake, & Don Beck)
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 1, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A scriptural wake service will be conducted on Monday afternoon at 1:30 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 10 a.m. from St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as
celebrant.
Burial will follow in St. Catherine Cemetery.
