A Bardstown resident, Mr. Orville Beavers, age 73, passed away Monday, May 5, 2014 at his residence. He was born on March 17, 1941 in Washington County, was a former construction worker and was of the Christian faith.
He is preceded in death by his wife Norma Jean Beavers and his parents Ernest and Ethel Milburn Beavers.
He is survived by three daughters, Donna (Doug) Dennis, Pam (Milbert) Bartley, Michelle (Rick) Williams, all of Bardstown, one son, Orville Dwayne (Donna) Beavers of Bardstown, two sisters, Joyce (Jay) Sloane of Louisville, Pauline Washburn of Shelbyville, two brothers, Jr. (Kathy) Beavers and Eugene Beavers, both of Bardstown. 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Orville Beavers will be Thursday May 8, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with Bro. Bruce Nichols officiating. Burial will be in Bardstown City Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 7, 2014 from 3:00-8:00pm and after 9;00am Thursday at Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home who is in charge of arrangements.
