Mrs. Carrie Mae Beavers, age 88, of Lebanon, KY, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2012 at the Springfield Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born on September 23, 1923 in Marion County, KY. Mrs. Beavers was a homemaker, and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Harvey and Mattie Coyle Sapp; three sons, Ronnie, Donnie, and Bobby Beavers; two sisters, Agnes Prescott and Georgia Votaw Spivey.

Survivors include her husband, J.B. Beavers; son, Tommy (Sue) Beavers, of Lebanon, KY; two daughters, Janice (Sparky) Mattingly, of Lebanon, KY, Phyllis (John) Parish, of Waxhaw, N.C; sister, Lucille Rodgers, of Lafayette, IN; half-sister, Margaret Totman, of Danville, KY; brother, Charles Buck Sapp, of Lebanon, KY; also surviving are eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Augustine Church Cemetery.
