Beauvais, Dora "Qooch" "Dorah" A homemaker and a resident of New Roads, she died at 4:15 a.m. Sunday, March 26, 2006, at Pointe Coupee General Hospital, New Roads. She was 94 and a native of Mix.
Visiting at Zion Travelers Baptist Church, religious service at the church, conducted by the Rev. Jerome Christopher. Interment in Zion Travelers Cemetery.
She is survived by six nieces, Mary Louise Parker, Eliska Christophe, Maudria Cage, Mary Chandlers, Rose Jackson and Julia Carter; five nephews, Harry, Gilbert, Lester, Ronald and Gregory Albert; a special great-niece, Daronda Brown; three special great-great-nieces, Candace and Mahogany Parker and Lauryn Lathan.
Preceded in death by her parents, Aristle and Louise Aguillard Beauvais; sisters, Victoria Albert and Laura Beauvais; brother, Arthur Beauvaois Jr.; niece, Irene Beauvais; nephews, Wilbert Albert Jr., Aristle Albert, Lloyd Albert Sr. and Arthur Beauvaois Jr.; great-nephew, Michael B. Parker; and brother-in-law, Wilbert Albert Sr.
She was a member of the Golden Rule Society.
