Norman Beausoleil, 87, of Fall River formerly of Swansea and Spring Hill, Florida, passed away on Tuesday February 7, 2012 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. He was the husband of sixty-five years to Constance H. (Babin) Beausoleil.

Norman was born in Fall River the son of the late Rheal and Yvonne (Perreault) Beausoleil. He served his country during WWII with the United States Navy. Mr. Beausoleil worked as an electrician at the former Paul Dever State School for twenty-eight years before retiring in 1987. Norman received the Marion Medal from the former Saint Michael Church in Swansea. He was a Eucharistic Minister at the former Saint Michael and Our Lady of Fatima Parishes.

Mr. Beausoleil was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Swansea, the Saint Vincent de Paul Society, the Swansea Volunteer Fire Department, the Joseph L. French VFW Post 2045 in Swansea, the former Our Lady of Fatima Senior Citizen's Group, the Fall River Lodge of Elks #118, and the Retired State, County and the Municipal Employee's Association. He served on the board at Saint Michael's Credit Union for several years. Norman was an avid bowler, golfer and Red Sox fan.

Survivors besides his wife are two daughters: Norma Hyde and her husband William of Swansea, MA; Barbara Guilbeault and her husband Peter of Greenville, RI; three grandchildren: William, Bethany and Jason; four great-grandchildren: Fintan, Hugh, Augustus and Ethan; a nephew: Brian Beausoleil of Fall River, MA; a sister Donna Hetland of Rhode Island; two brothers: Joseph Beausoleil of PA; and John Beausoleil of Rhode Island; one aunt: Helen Perreault of Tiverton, RI; one uncle: Dan Perreault and his wife Nell of Walpole, MA; and several other nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Albert and Raymond Beausoleil.

Funeral Information
His funeral service will be held on Saturday at 9am from the HATHAWAY COMMUNITY HOME for FUNERALS, 900 Buffinton St., Somerset, followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10am in Saint Louis de France Church 56 Buffington Street, Swansea. Relatives and friends are invited to attend, burial to follow with MILITARY HONORS in Mount Hope Cemetery in Swansea. CALLING HOURS will be held on FRIDAY from 4-7pm
