INDIAN ORCHARD - Anna (Aldora) LaPierre Beaulieu, 89, died peacefully at home Friday. Born Dec. 23, 1913 in Springfield to the late Emery J. LaPierre and Agnes (Patnaude) LaPierre, she lived her whole life in Indian Orchard. She worked as a Lab Aide and Cafeteria worker at Monsanto Chemical Company, Indian Orchard. She was a communicant of St. Jude's Parish, a Lady of St. Anne Society, and a volunteer worker at St. Aloysius/St. Jude Parish, The Franciscan Friars in Granby MA, and The Indian Orchard Citizen's Council. Anna was also an avid bingo player and embroiderer. She was predeceased by her loving husband Ovila "Okie" Beaulieu, who died June 6, 1993 and her son-in-law Norman R. Voisine who died August 29, 1999. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Patricia A. Voisine of Indian Orchard; her sons Robert F. Beaulieu and his wife Dorothy of Ludlow and Gary Lee Beaulieu and his wife Veronica of Bethlehem PA; her 7 grandchildren Kenneth R. Voisine and his wife Donna, David R. Voisine, Robert D. Beaulieu, and Roseann Hanna and her husband Kevin, Christine Beaulieu, Amy Beaulieu, and Julie Beaulieu. She will also be missed by her 3 great-grandchildren, who were the "light of her life", Nathaniel Voisine, Alexander Voisine, and Clare Hanna. Anna also leaves her loving sister Orella "Babe" Ricardi of Ludlow. She was predeceased by her brothers Emery J. LaPierre Jr., Joseph Bedard, Homer Bedard, Arthur Bedard, and David Bedard; and her sisters Louise "Sis" Chrusciel, Agnes (Doris) LaPierre, and Rose Bedard Morin. Anna leaves many kind and loving nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed. The family would like to thank all of Anna's nurses from Western Mass. Hospice for their care, and would especially like to thank Martha and Pam from Visiting Angels. Funeral will be from Ratell Funeral Home Monday at 9 a.m. with Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Jude Church, Indian Orchard followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Sunday 2 to 5 PM at Ratell Funeral Home, 200 Main St., Indian Orchard. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Baystate Visiting Nurse Assoc. & Hospice, 50 Maple St., POB 9058, Springfield MA 01102-9058 or St. Jude's Church, 1326 Worcester St., Springfield MA 01151.
